Another way to generate passive income is through online advertising and affiliate programs.I have two websites that I maintain and while they do not generate a ton of income they make enough to cover the hosting costs. I average around $10 per month with Google Adsense advertising. I know its not alot, but its a start.

Getting out of debt is pretty simple. I need to spend less then I earn. The first step in doing this is to figure out where I am financially. I have already created a net worth statement that allowed me to easily see where my money goes and what areas I need to focus on for paying off my debt.
The next step in eliminating my debt is to calculate my debt to income ratio.
